Whew, what a busy string of days its been! Sorry that I've been caught up in one heck of a fox burrow! There were just so many interesting things to explore and roll around in! I honestly can't even remember how many prompts and dares I owe you guys! So here's a copious group of them!
Copious ~Alright, I may have cheated a little bit on this one. There's a bunch of something! Cats, words, books, booty, there's a scant of something! What is it? Does it have something to do with the plot? ~T.M.I. Someone is just overflowing with copious amounts of words. Are they revealing things that are useless to the plot or are they much like the Delphi Oracle, are they spouting riddles that turn to be true? There's just a lot of words to sift through! Goodness!
Caustic ~Toss in a critical or sarcastic remark. Heck, you can even make it a pun, sassy, snarky, or dry! Someone says something that criticizes something else. ~BURN. Another definition of caustic that isn't quite as common is much like acid or corrosion. Something is melting away! Augh! Is it the platform our heroes are standing on? Is it the monarchy of a corrupt king finally shriveling away? Something is disintegrating! Oh no!
Paramnesia a distortion of memory in which fact and fantasy are confused. ~Your character just got down off of something and they are not sure what is real or not. Were they drugged? Were they being controlled by the Delphi Oracle after spewing a copious amount of mystical words? Are they aware of the state they're in or are they still utterly confused. ~Taking this in a bit of a tangent, your character is now stuck in a memory of before. They are in a series of events that are happening in real life that are taking them back to this moment in time! Was it good? Was it awful? Was it traumatizing?
Temptation ~Your character is being tempted as though the sirens were singing. Are they a kleptomaniac and they just HAVE to take that ring off of that queen's hand? Are they about to hop into bed with the villain themselves? There's something wrong that they just want so damn bad. ~IT'S A TRAP. Your characters devise a plan to catch something or someone! They use that character's guilty-pleasure to get them into a trap! It's like tigers and tuna sandwiches. They're kinda stupid that way. +2 points if you get both references in this
Magniloquent ~The great king has just declared something important! Oh my! The only problem is that... well, no one really understands what he said because his verbiage was just too...grandiose. Your characters must now attempt to decipher what the heck the king actually said. Let the comedy ensue. ~One of your characters has been cursed! Dammit. Those curses are just annoying. They're now stuck speaking in a pompous, boastful style for the rest of the chapter. Well done. Teach you to mess with literary wizards again.
Dare you dare you double dog dare you MEGA DOUBLE DARE!!! Collywobbles Yup. I went there. Your character must now explore a place that is a bit creepy or unsettling! Moments of apprehension and terror await! But wait, there's more! +1 point .:. there's nothing there +2 points .:. THERE IS SOMETHING THERE D: +3 points .:. It's not something that's from any movie or cliché flick ever seen before (an original species or horror figure) +4 .:. It IS an overly cliché monster. +5 .:. it's really a person in a mask and the dog is the one that figures it out. (I would have gotten away with it too! D<) x2 all points!~ .:. Your character must say "This place gives me the collywobbles."

The ol' Switcheroo ~Your character pulls a prank or a trick on another character! Was that giant gold nugget really fake? Was that mug of the world's famous ale now a tainted draft of everyone's spit from the tavern? Something was swapped out for being something else! ~Your character or another rather serious character must dress and act as the opposite sex. They now take the position of some important character's girlfriend/boyfriend or seduce another character as their new gender. Bonus double points if they look damn good in it. Contradiction ~Your character has been contradicted! How do they deal with that? Do they attempt to reprove their point? Do they let it fall away and accept it? ~Your character realizes someone else's false remark or perhaps their belie of a potential plot point? How do they confront them? Do they? Do they ever prove the right point? Indemnified ~Your characters know that something is going to go wrong, they now make plans to be secure against this lapse. ~Your characters are now guarded by someone who needs them alive. Whether it be for a dark mage who needs them for a secret ritual or, after a threat has been made, the main characters are now under the protection of their guardians. How do they deal with being guarded?
Dare you dare you Alert!! After a few spooky spooky tornadoes touched down near my home, it inspired a new dare!
your characters must now face a weather event! Lightning! Hail! Brimstone from the heavens! Gale force winds that knock them off their feet! Heck, how would your character survive the fright-train roar of a tornado? Put in a weather related event that lasts for at least a page. Give great description and make your reader feel as though they are going through these events right along side.

Tonight's write-in maybe only 1 hour. I am feeling a bit under the weather still due to my dentist appointment yesterday so I might keep this short. Of course someone else can take over for the remaining hour if they want to!
Still the write-in will happen in 1 hour! Hope to see you all there!

Ugh. I have been really extremely lazy about my writing. Mostly due to the fact that I have to study shit for my end of course exams at the end of the month and get ready for finals, which are next month. So, basically, unless I completely slack off on it, I doubt I'm gonna get to finish my story this month. That makes me really sad, but I'm still going to work on it from time to time, too.

Well a lot of people for this camp are too busy either because of school or other things going on. So I do believe we'll have a better turn out for July as far as Write-ins go and other stuff. I always work but I still like working on my book in July better cause I get to go outside and write with pen and paper, so much fun.

Yeah, I just finished moving but I don't have my desktop with internet yet. So I'm on my chromebook which means no skype group calls and limited ability with other things (it's slow with videos and lags sometimes). It's fantastic for writing, but not so much for digital write ins. (beautiful for cafes though like omfg!)

Lol. Well depending on how many people can join tomorrow by 7:30 EST I will simply cancel. I don't see the point for me to stay online and wait for more than 30 mins.
