Why hello, there!


Nice of you to visit! Currently I am looking for a fun group roleplay, but I *am* open to a 1x1 scenario if you come up with something that manages to pique my interest. I have definitely not done many of them, nor have I done a large number of genres, but I'm more than willing to try just about anything.


Most of my experience roleplaying has come from things of a somewhat loose fantasy genre. That's about the best way I can think of to describe my previous home (Izanami Nightclub, in Gaia's Commerce forum). If you need examples of my writing, I'd be more than happy to provide some. I just ask that if I send you to the Izanami thread itself at some point, please don't may much attention to the earlier sections of the thread. It makes me feel kind of silly to look back on that, considering how far I've come now. But- all of the growing I've done, its in that thread (and its associated guild).


As for Izanami itself, its very special to me (and Cheru). I'm a bit wary of trying to relocate/restart it again. If that ends up becoming of interest to you, again- I can describe it to the best of my ability if you'd like. But to move it in here? You'll have to do quite a bit of coercing!


But enough about my roleplaying past~.


As I said, a lot of my writing has been fantasy-based. I have had experiences with gang- and school-based roleplaying as well. A small bit of slice-of-life. I have not done anything in the league of yuri/yaoi quite yet, but I don't have a problem with it. I've done some that were also based upon games (Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine, and Perfect World International; both of which are MMOs if you didn't already know). Like my good friend Cheru, I'm a bit wary of playing anything that's based heavily (or entirely) upon a storyline unless I know we can make it work. I'd much prefer to play an OC of mine, as I trust in my ability to play them.


If you have any good ideas, or would like to bounce ideas off of me, I'm also more than willing to help you develop your own stories!

 Addison Pierce 

Nickname: Addy 

Age: 16 

Race: Human 

Details: Addison is a medium-height teenager with slowly-maturing power over the element of water. Most of Addy's spare time is spent practicing, either with water or gymnastics (something she's been involved in since she was five years old). She is known to be kind and cordial to most everyone she meets, but she does have a sassy side. Said sassiness is usually reserved for Tarrin and his hijinks; the two can often be seen together and have been friends from a very young age.

Random Secret: She has growing romantic feelings for Tarrin (and has for quite some time), but is under the assumption that those feelings aren't mutual. As such, she hasn't said a word to Tarrin about it.

 Ashwarya Rai

Nickname: Ash 

Age: 33 

Race: Human 

Details: Ashwarya stands a bit on the taller side, as far as women go. To those who don't know her, Ash may come across as a bit guarded. In her thirty-odd years, she's lived a lot of life, starting from a very young age. However, when you get to know her and earn her trust, its hard to find someone more loyal. She may not always have much to say, but it would be unwise to mistake that silence for a dull mind. Ashwarya's greatest passion is dancing. 

Random Secret: Ash is very well-to-do, and needs no help from anyone financially. Its where that wealth has come from that surprises many people.

 Izanami

Nickname: Iza 

Age: Unknown

Race: Unknown

Details: Izanami is a small-in-stature, ethereal lady with a gentle hand and calming presence. Thin and lithe with nearly-glowing pale green hair and fair skin, Izanami is hardly found in one place for very long unless it is demanded of her for good reason. In all of the years she can still recall, Iza has lived her 'life' as a Psychopomp: a guide for the recently-passed spirits in the living world who is charged with granting them safe passage to the afterlife. She has also been known to be involved with the birth of children, helping to make sure the newborn soul reaches their new world. 

Random Secret: Izanami has a great distaste for things of an undead nature. If she learns of some dark art taking place (such as necromancy), she has been known to intervene quite harshly.

 Kino Takei

Nickname: Red, Kinnie, Cat (Thanks to Ashwarya...) 

Age: 296 (Physically, appears to be in her early-mid fourties) 

Race: Half Cat Demon, Half Human 

Details: A shortish, tanned woman with a heart of gold, Kino is a traveler who hasn't been in one place for too awfully long most of her life. Due to previous injuries and a rather long lifespan, there is quite a bit of Kino's memory that she's not fully able to recall. Bits and pieces tend to filter through, so she can sometimes be caught frustrated or dwelling on such details. Kino is always willing to help someone in need, and is usually one of the first to stand up for someone if she feels its the right thing to do. Kino's only focus at the moment is her son, Tarrin. Unlike him, however, Kino's elemental power lies with Earth.

Random Secret: While she hasn't done so in quite some time (and is likely very rusty), Kino owns and can play a violin.
NOTE: There are two versions of Kino in the world: one of which is fully Human. If it becomes necessary I'll write up a bit for her as well, but they're essentially the same person. Its just appearances that differ the most.

 Tarrin Takei 

Nickname: Rin, Tan, Tard (Addison's own form of a love tap) 

Age: 16 

Race: 1/4 Cat Demon, 3/4 Human 

Details: Tarrin takes after his father, and stands a solid head and a half taller than his mother. While Kino is (generally) a kind individual, Tarrin is far more inclined to keep to himself. He'll only have an honest interaction with a select few people he trusts, and tolerates others as necessary. In a potentially humorous twist, Tarrin's elemental ability lies with fire (thus making him Addison's opposite). Its a perfect match for his temper, which he also seems to have gotten from his father. Just don't ask him to admit that. Tarrin can be fiercely loyal, and is the most protective of three people: his mother, his 'aunt' Cheru, and his good friend Addison. 

Random Secret: Addison's feelings for him are mutual, but he's yet to admit it to anyone yet (especially not himself, which sadly is the first step).
