Alright, maybe not actually a god, but one fluffy pink glitter fox with potential god complex? You found her. I'm Snow! Yes, like my other account, @lesnowfox . We are the same person, I swear. However, this is the account I'll do all the work for NoReg on! That means if you see me online under my godly name, chances are I'm buried in writing out a new guide, messing with colors and code, or downright trying to figure out something cool!
I'm what most would consider a jack of all trades. I know a little bit about everything. History? Greek mythology? Art? Science? Astrology? Theater? Music? Dance? Construction? Cooking? Pressure points? Meteorology? Film? Animation? How fireworks are made? Script writing? I know really random stuff! I wouldn't say I'm proficient in any of the above, but I certainly know the most useless facts in each one! I'm a sucker for learning something new.
Though I've studied in these areas, I've worked mostly in retail. Which basically means doing a crapton of different things. I've also performed in both dance and music and do neat things like vocal changes and edm flow art. From there, sfx makeup and costume design came from a hobby to actually working on a few shows. Otherwise, it's little work in between.
In case you haven't noticed from the fur and fluff, I am a furre. Yes, furre. It's a furry, but one who started on an RP site with a species called furres. Most of which are clean. If you were thinking anything less, you and your dirty mind need to getcha brain from the gutter. Perv. But yes, I'm a part of the furry family as a little pink fairy fox of cuteness and love. If you don't like it, well, just pretend it's not a furry and is instead just a cute pink fox anyway. That's adorable. How can you not?
I also ramble. A lot. I tend to over-inform rather than under-inform. If I'm not giving the facts, then that would equal lying. I. Hate. Liars. Let me say that again. Hate. If I find that you have lied to me, chances are you will not only have broken my trust, but lost all respect with me. Not to put a downer on this get to know forum, but trickery, lies, and deceit have nearly killed me. Several times. I intensely trust people. My loyalty knows no bounds. If that is broken, it's more than just a word. It's a string that nooses my heart to threaten break. Do not lie to me. Honesty is respect. That is all.
Aside from that! I bet you were wondering more on why I'm on this lovely roleplay based site! Need you ask more? I stopped listening at the word "roleplay" how about you? I'm an addict. A bibliophile if you'd rather. I love words. I'm hooked on them. Writing them, reading, composing sentences that have both structure and rhythm. If you get me going, my posts are no longer words. They turn into symphonies with movements, rhythm, emotion, and construction that has more than a description or a point conveyed through it. No, they turn more than words written. It turns to a story that is then felt more than read. Writing is passion; I hope you feel the same way.
So, with writing comes the next point. What am I doing on staff then? The answer? I hope several things! However, I mainly wish to finish the roleplay guides. I am not, by any means a professional writer and most of my rules of thumb should be taken with a grain of salt.
However, I have written for more than half my life and still, with finding new avenues and adventure, I have come to recognize certain patterns and elements of writing that I would not have otherwise known. I wrote with speed and proficiency that, though there is room for improvement, is often shocking to the average listener. I world say the most common compliment I receive is that when I am typing a post, I sound as though a jackhammer is on my desk. And that is just the speed of writing.
The knowledge and exploration along with reading for too many writing examples, I am morse than an average writer. It's not ego nor modesty. It is fact. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that you, dear reader, can write better than the average person, yet still feel as though you have room for improvement. Also, for each of my guides, I do a profound amount of research before I even put the imagined pen to paper, if you will. There are many avenues to writing, I only hope I can point you in the next right way. Writing is an adventure. There is no wrong way. Even if you travel backwards, you're simply visiting a place you've been before so that you may find something new. So write on, dear writer. Write on!
