The sun was setting on another long day. Two girls sat on the swings at a park talking about everything they had done that day and began to make plans for the weekend to come. “I think I’m actually ready for this weekend…unlike last year. What about you Leah? Are you ready with your cosplay?” The younger woman asked the girl on the swing next to her. Leah thought for a moment before nodding, “Yeah I think I’m ready…I’m just a little nervous about my Rose cosplay. Sure the wings are secure enough, I’m just worried about knocking things over.” The younger woman chuckled a little thinking about her friend walking around the convention knocking people over as she simply turned around. ”Oh you think that’s funny?” The older woman nudged her friend’s swing a little with her foot to make the swing move away. ”God Kira, you’re such a Crowley…” Kira looked forward with a sheepish smile, ”…Moose.” Leah laughed and shook her head a little.
To the two it seemed like no time at all had passed as they sat there talking but in fact about two hours had passed and it was well into the night. Leah looked at her phone and sighed softly, ”Wow time flies I guess…Well at least check in isn’t until 3, so we don’t have to be up super early to get to the hotel, but we should get some sleep.” Kira sighed and got up from her swing, ”Yeah I suppose you’re right.” The two women left the park and made their way to Kira’s house where they would be sleeping for that night.

Leah woke up the next morning with a yawn and stretched her arms out. She slowly rose from the couch and left the room she had slept in to go see if her friend had woken up. As she stepped out of the 'den room' she was greeted by a soft high-pitched meow and a fluffy tail brushing up against her leg, "Good morning MooMoo." The young woman said as she bent down and pet the cat on it's head. "Little stinker woke me up this morning, jumped on my head." Kira sounded a little irritated but wasn't mad at the cat by any means. Leah pat the cat gently on it's hip and let it scamper away, "Goofy little cat." The older woman said with a smile and stood up. "I'm gonna hop in the shower before I double check everything to make sure I don't forget a thing." Leah nodded, acknowledging her friend's plan for the morning. "I'll shower later at the hotel...I'm going watch something on Netflix while you're doing that...we can head out around 11:30, so we can grab something for lunch. I'm thinking with traffic and a stop for lunch I'm thinking we'll get there around 3 for check in." Kira nodded, "Sounds like a plan." She walked into the bathroom and started the shower.
Leah grabbed the clothes she was planning to wear for the day, a simple white t-shirt with worn light grey skinny jeans and her favorite pair of knee high brown leather boots. It was a nice simple outfit that was perfect for hot sunny days, especially since Leah didn't really like wearing shorts in public. After she finished getting ready, Leah sat on the couch she had slept on the night before and turned on the TV and started looking for something to watch. She landed on a favorite of her's and Kira's, the TV show 'Supernatural'. Leah started scrolling through the episodes and ended up on 'Dog Dean Afternoon'.
It did not seem like long before Kira was out of the shower and getting ready for the day herself. Kira looked at herself in the mirror, she had just gotten her hair cut only days before. This was so much easier for her Crowley cosplay and easier to wear a wig for her other cosplays as well. The young woman didn’t wear makeup much but since the Anime Central Convention the year before, she had begun to wear a little bit. Not every day and not on her whole face but since she normally didn’t wear makeup people that knew her would be surprised to see her with just eye shadow and colored lip gloss.
Kira finished getting dressed in a comfy pair of yoga pants and Supernatural t-shirt. Normally she would also put on a sweatshirt as well but it was actually pretty hot so the young woman decided to go without. Once she was all ready to go, the young woman walked into the den where her friend still sat watching the show. “What episode?” Leah looked back and smiled, ”Oh you are so pretty!” Kira rolled her eyes a bit and shook her head, ”Whatever.” She said softly but was blushing just a little bit. ”Dog Dean Afternoon…I love this episode, he’s so cute.” Kira nodded in agreement, ”Yes he is…Are we ready to go?” The older woman stood up and nodded, turning off the TV, ”Yeah it just finished. What time does Taryn’s flight get in?” Leah asked curiously. Kira looked at her phone, ”Taryn’s flight should be landing around 5. She is going to take the hotel shuttle so we don’t have to deal with traffic at that time getting to the airport.” The older woman sighed in relief, ”Oh thank god…I think it’ll be bad enough driving up there at this time.”
After getting all checked in at the hotel, the girls went up to their room. Leah entered first and looked around, ”Wow…what a beautiful room!” She moved into the room so Kira could enter as well. The older woman had booked the room for the three girl, but Kira and Taryn had no idea that Leah had gotten a large suite, actually one of the largest suites in the hotel. As soon as Kira looked up to see the room she stopped and looked around, ”This room is huge Leah! I can’t afford to pay for 1/3 of this room.” Kira felt a little panicked, thinking about trying to afford her share of this room and food and other things for this weekend. Leah smiled, ”Hun I’m a GM at a Hyatt…I got a really good deal on the room, probably a better rate then what we would pay for a standard room without my discount.” The younger woman looked around, ”Wow that’s awesome…this room is huge!”
It was uncanny how right when Leah stepped out of the shower, she could hear Kira’s phone go off. ”Taryn is getting on the shuttle. She should be here in like 15 minutes…maybe longer if traffic is bad.” Kira informed Leah through the closed bathroom door. About 5 minutes later Leah was out of the bathroom dressed simply in a pair of shorts, sports bra, and tank top. ”Alrighty then, if we head down shortly here we’ll get down a little before she gets here and we can help her if she needs it.” Leah flipped her head forward and twisted her hair into a messy bun on the top of her head at the back. ”Alright, are you read?” Kira nodded and grabbed her phone. Leah grabbed the key and the two girls went downstairs to meet their friend.
The hotel shuttle pulled up and the people started to unload. Kira and Leah stood inside, just far enough away from the door for people to get inside. When Taryn finally got off the shuttle, Kira and Leah waked out to meet her. Leah walked up and grabbed one of Taryn’s bags as the shuttle driver pulled it out from the back of the shuttle. ”Thank you.” Leah said with a smile and handed the driver a tip. The driver nodded in gratitude then the girls went into the hotel. ”You are going to love the room Leah got…just keep in mind she gets a discount.” Taryn gave Kira a puzzled look then nodded, “Alright.” She said with a smile. Once the three young women made it to the room, Taryn looked around, “Wow ok…I get it now.” Leah chuckled a little and put one of Taryn’s bags in the bedroom area. ”Well I would like one of these two beds and then there’s the sofa bed. So three beds in total.” The other two women nodded in agreement. ”So I am super hungry…Do you guys want something to eat too?” Kira thought for a moment then nodded, “Yeah I am pretty hungry actually…we could go to the restaurant downstairs.” Taryn nodded in agreement, “Sounds good to me.” Leah smiled, ”And then we can go out for drinks.” Kira laughed softly, “Alright, that sounds like fun!”
After the girls ate dinner they left the hotel to go to a bar nearby. They grabbed a table for the three of them. They each ordered their drinks and sat back and just started to talk. Kira and Leah couldn’t stop looking at a couple guys at the bar, and Taryn simply chuckled. Mostly Taryn found her friends amusing. After about an hour and three or four drinks, Leah got up and walked over to the bar. It had gotten pretty busy in the bar so it was taking a little while to get drinks to their table. Kira and Taryn were still working on their drinks but Leah had finished hers. When Leah got to the bar one of the guys that her and Kira were watching looked at her and smiled, ”Hi there.” He said with a smile. Leah smiled back, ”Hi…” The young man chuckled a little and looked at the bartender, ”Her next drink is on me.” The bar tender nodded and handed Leah her drink, ”Whiskey…A girl after my own heart.” He put his hand to his chest. Leah laughed softly and shook her head a bit. ”My name is Dean.” The man said, holding his hand out to shake hers. ”It’s nice to meet you Dean…My name is Leah.”
It was around midnight when the girls decided to leave the bar. ”Here’s my number…I hope to hear from you soon.” Leah leaned in and kissed him on the cheek then moved back, ”I’ll think about it.” The young woman turned and followed her friends out of the bar. Once the three women were down the street on their way back to the hotel, Kira sighed. “I think I had one…or maybe two too many.” Leah and Taryn looked at Kira who was moving toward the side of a building. She leaned up against the wall and took a couple deep breathes. The two older women helped their friend up on her feet a little better, ”Alright well…this may be a sign I need to stop drinking when I had at least 3 more than you and can walk fine…and I’m not sick.” Kira looked at Leah and nodded, “That’s...ok time for bed.” Leah chuckled just a little and the girls made their way back to the hotel. As the three women get to be about 2 blocks down from the hotel, Leah heard something down an alley. When the young woman took a look down the alley, she saw something that looked like glowing eyes. Alas they were gone almost as quickly as they appeared. Leah shook her head and continued on her way.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next morning the girls got up and ready for the convention. Kira was dressing as Kitana from Mortal Kombat, Leah was dressing as Emma Frost from Marvel, and Taryn was dressing up as Daria. They would be going to panels and a couple gatherings which was always fun. When the girls made it to the hotel lobby they started getting stopped by people asking to take their pictures. It was nice to find that they were being recognized and people seemed to enjoy their cosplay. The three made their way over to the convention, getting stopped every once in a while for pictures.
After being at the convention for a couple hours, Leah overheard some news. ”Yeah I guess there was this woman who died last night in an alley just a couple blocks away…Sounds like it was some kind of animal attack.” Just as she was about to turn around, Leah’s attention was brought back when Kira called out. The women continued to walk around the convention, having fun at other gatherings and panels. Everything else made Leah forget about the news she heard about the murder in an alley not far away.
It was a long day at the convention and the girls had a lot of fun but alas the day had to end and the girls returned to the hotel. Once the girls got back to the hotel, Kira got a text from some friends who wanted to spend some time together. “Alright I would like to go meet up with them…Do you two want to come with?” Kira asked her two friends. Taryn smiled and nodded, “Yeah that’d be fun…How about you Leah? You want to join?” Leah thought for a moment, ”You know, I actually think I’m gonna stay behind. Maybe I’ll join you guys later.” Kira looked at Taryn then shrugged, “I’ll let you know where we end up…send me a text if you decide to join." The three women said good bye and Kira and Taryn went to meet up with Kira's friends.
Leah was beginning to fall asleep on the couch when her phone went off. Kira sent her a text to let her know that they were at her friend’s hotel which wasn’t far. The part that Leah was most thankful for was that she could get to the other hotel via the skyway. She wouldn’t need to walk down the street, which at this point she was worried about because of seeing the eyes in the alley. Leah wanted to surprise Kira and Taryn which was pretty easy since Kira texted Leah that not only were they at this other hotel, they were in that hotel’s restaurant.
Once she arrived at the hotel, Leah looked around at the bar first to make sure they weren’t there at the bar instead of the restaurant. Leah sat down at the bar, seeing a familiar face. “Well hello there.” Dean said with a smile. “Are you staying here?” Leah asked curiously. She then laughed softly, “That may have sounded…bad. I wasn’t trying to…and I’m so much batter at this when I’ve had a drink or two.” Dean started laughing, “Whiskey for the lady please.” He said to the bartender. Leah sighed and shook her head. She showed the bartender her i.d. and he poured her a drink. Dean and Leah clicked their glasses and Leah took a drink. Just as they finished their drinks, someone else came up to get a drink, “Hey…Picking up a girl already? It’s still pretty early.” Dean sighed, “Thanks…Leah this is my brother Sam.” Leah looked up and shook Sam’s hand when offered. She then looked at Dean then Sam, ”Dean…Sam…Huh.” She took the next drink that the bartender and muttered under her breathe, ”Glowing eyes.” Dean and Sam shared a looked but didn’t say anything.
Just as she was going to make a Supernatural comment, Leah heard someone call her name. When Leah looked past Sam and Dean, she saw Kira and Taryn. The young woman began to approach her friends but stopped before getting too far. ”Thank you…for the drink.” Dean nodded, “Hope I can do more next time.” Leah smiled and nodded, ”Maybe.” The young woman then went to meet up with her friends again. “Who was that?” Kira asked curiously, “Oh is that the guy you were talking to at the bar the other night?” Taryn asked as she tried to get a better look. ”And now we’re leaving.” Leah said taking her friends and pulled them away. “You should introduce us though…he’s cute.” Kira said, admiring both of the men but mostly Dean. ”Come on…it’s midnight, we should be getting back to our hotel…the Supernatural gathering is at noon. I need time to put the mark of Cain on you and do your make up so come on, bed time.” Kira sighed softly and went along, Taryn simply laughed at her two younger friends.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Getting back to their hotel was easy enough. Kira and Taryn fell asleep right away but Leah was having trouble. It was those eyes, before they didn’t bother her but now that she felt like se may have seen something she wasn’t supposed to, the young woman just felt restless. It was about 3 o’clock in the morning and Leah had been trying to sleep for over 2 hours now. The young brunette sat up, deciding that it was pointless to try and sleep but at the same time there wasn’t much she could do in the room without waking her friends. Kira rolled over, pushing the pillow off her head and looked at Leah, ”Hey…” Leah looked at Kira and smiled a little, ”Hey, go back to sleep…I’m gonna go for a walk, hard time getting to sleep. I’ll be back soon.” Kira took a deep breathe, nodded and laid her head back down, covering it with the pillow again.
After putting her cell phone in one pocket and her room key in her other pocket, Leah left their suite and started to walk down the hall. Being 3am, it was pretty quiet. The young woman passed a couple other people in the hallway but there most definitely were not a lot of people. Not knowing what else to do, Leah felt it would be best to go down to the lobby. At least she would be able to sit down and read on her phone or something instead of sitting in the hallway. Although the young woman knew it was late at night or actually early in the morning, she felt it was a bit strange with so many people staying in the hotel but so little ‘foot traffic’ in the halls and lobby. As she got down to the lobby, Leah put her hands in her pockets. She intended simply to grab her cell phone but she also noticed that her key was no longer in her other pocket. ”Oh you have got to be kidding me.” She groaned softly and began to look around the elevator floor but didn’t see her key. The woman sighed, but since she managed a hotel, she knew it wouldn’t be hard to get another key from the front desk.
The lobby seemed even quieter than the rest of the hotel. Leah approached the front desk and looked around but no one was there. Knowing how frustrating it could be to have someone come to the front desk and immediately start calling for attention, Leah waited for a little bit to see if anyone returned to the desk. After about 5 minutes, Leah realized that the Front Desk person had either fallen asleep or was not watching the camera of the front desk. ”Hello? Sorry to bother you but I lost my key.” Leah called out, hoping that someone would hear her and come to the desk. Leah waited for 15 minutes but no one came to the front desk, actually there didn’t seem to be anyone around at all. The young brunette sighed softly, deciding she would just go back to the room and call her friend’s cell phone to let her back in. As soon as Leah began to walk away from the desk, she heard something that sounded like crying. With there being no one at the desk, Leah wondered if someone was hurt, maybe that was why there was no one there to help her. The noise peaked Leah’s interest, mostly because she wanted to know that everything was alright and no one was hurt.
As Leah got closer to the source of the noise, she was beginning to realize that it was not in fact someone crying but instead it sounded like an animal whimpering. This made Leah stop and look around. The young woman had enough sense not to get any closer, if there was a wounded animal or something in the hotel it could attack. Just as she began to retreat, the whimper turned into a growl and she saw the glowing eyes she had seen the night before. ”S***” The brunette cursed softly as she moved away from the noise. What happened next happened very quickly. Something jumped out of the shadows toward Leah who was grabbed and pulled back by someone else. As she looked at the creature that tried to attack, Leah noticed something off. Just as the creature got up to attack again, someone else tackled it to the ground. It was then that the young woman was able to see that the creature that tried to attack her was not an animal she had ever seen. It looked more like a human but it’s skin was like leather, it’s hands were long and it’s nails were claws. The man who had jumped forward to tackle Leah’s attacker drove a dagger into it’s side. The creature screamed, it’s wound burned and it eventually died.
”The creature is dead…Is she alright…Did it hurt you?” The man put his hand on her chin and turned her head, examining her. “Cass.” Dean spoke from behind Leah, revealing that he was the one who pulled her away from the attack, ”We have to be sure she is alright, if she was scratch, she could turn…You know there isn’t a cure…it’s not like a vampire or werewolf. We haven’t found a cure or a name for that yet.” Dean sighed and walked around next to the angel. He looked at Leah and waved his hand in front of her, seeing that she seemed to be paralyzed. ”Cass…Dean and Sam.” She put her fingers to her neck, ”Am I dreaming?” The brunette asked herself softly. Dean sighed, “Well she can speak so I guess that’s a good sign…Cass-” The young man was still speaking to the angel when he turned away from the young woman but she couldn’t hear what he said because suddenly everything was muffled.
Sam joined up with them soon. He looked at Leah then at his brother and the angel, “She ok?” Dean sighed, “You find out that a TV show is based on reality…would you be ok?” The younger brother sighed and nodded. When they all had their backs turned, Leah began to feel panicked and turned around to leave only to be greeted by another uneasy site. A pillar of black smoke was creeping up from the ground to form a tall very will built man with a beard, tattoos, and red eyes. If the other three were real, Leah knew who this was. Her fear was confirmed when the man spoke in a gruff British accent, ”Hello darling.” Leah takes a few steps back especially when Crowley reaches out, ”Not so fast…I’ve been looking for you.” Castiel steps in to grab Leah just in time. Crowley sighed and looked back, hearing the elevator ding, ”Next time then.” He said with a wink to Leah then disappeared.
Kira and Taryn got off the elevator and looked around, eventually seeing Leah, only really because they could hear her freaking out. ”No way…I am dreaming, I drank too much and I’m having some crazy dream. Monsters…at least those kinds of monsters…They aren’t real.” Sam and Dean were trying to calm Leah down and explain, but instead Castiel sighed and put his pointer finger and middle finger on Leah’s forehead which made her pass out. The angel caught her and looked at Dean and Sam who seemed to disapprove, “You wouldn’t have been able to get her to calm down and we need to get her out of here to keep her safe from Crowley.” The angel picked Leah up and was about to leave but Kira ran up and stepped in front of him, “Excuse me, that’s my friend... Where do you think you’re going?” She asked sternly.
The three men shared a look then Dean stepped forward, “My name is Dean Winchester…This is my brother Sam, and that walking load of sensitivity is Castiel.” Taryn shook her head with a laugh, “Really? We may be fan girls but we’re not stupid. Supernatural is a TV show…not real life.” Kira nodded, “Yeah I’m sorry but you can’t take our friend…I don’t trust you guys.” Castiel sighed and looked at Sam and Dean, “There is no time for this…Crowley will come back to find the girl. I need to go find out why he wants her.” Sam and Dean nodded, “Fine…If you don’t believe us, come with us…No way we can leave you two here either…Who knows what that son of a bitch is up to.” The three men began to leave and Kira and Taryn followed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Crowley knocked a couple things over in irritation, ”Three girls…Each born on a specific date…that’s what I need and you’re telling me you can’t find any bloody birth records?” A demon stood off to the side, avoiding Crowley’s wrath as best he could. “I…I’m sorry sir…It’s like they’ve been wiped out…How did you find this one?” Crowley looked at the other demon and stepped forward, ”Simple…I looked!” He said as he grabbed the other demon by the throat and lifted him up. ”Now the Winchester and that bloody angel have her…They’ll keep her hidden and I’ll need to find another one, plus the other two!” He dropped the demon who quickly got up and bowed, “I’m so sorry sir…I swear I’ll find them.” Crowley sighed and put one hand up on the bridge of his nose. He waved the demon away with his other hand, then sat back and looked at a paper with three dates written.
As the three women get to be about 2 blocks down from the hotel, Leah heard something down an alley. When the young woman took a look down the alley, she saw something that looked like glowing eyes. Alas they were gone almost as quickly as they appeared. Leah shook her head and continued on her way.
The next morning the girls got up and ready for the convention. Kira was dressing as Kitana from Mortal Kombat, Leah was dressing as Emma Frost from Marvel, and Taryn was dressing up as Daria. They would be going to panels and a couple gatherings which was always fun. When the girls made it to the hotel lobby they started getting stopped by people asking to take their pictures. It was nice to find that they were being recognized and people seemed to enjoy their cosplay. The three made their way over to the convention, getting stopped every once in a while for pictures.
After being at the convention for a couple hours, Leah overheard some news. ”Yeah I guess there was this woman who died last night in an alley just a couple blocks away…Sounds like it was some kind of animal attack.” Just as she was about to turn around, Leah’s attention was brought back when Kira called out. The women continued to walk around the convention, having fun at other gatherings and panels. Everything else made Leah forget about the news she heard about the murder in an alley not far away.
It was a long day at the convention and the girls had a lot of fun but alas the day had to end and the girls returned to the hotel. Once the girls got back to the hotel, Kira got a text from some friends who wanted to spend some time together. “Alright I would like to go meet up with them…Do you two want to come with?” Kira asked her two friends. Taryn smiled and nodded, “Yeah that’d be fun…How about you Leah? You want to join?” Leah thought for a moment, ”You know, I actually think I’m gonna stay behind. Maybe I’ll join you guys later.” Kira looked at Taryn then shrugged, “I’ll let you know where we end up…send me a text if you decide to join." The three women said good bye and Kira and Taryn went to meet up with Kira's friends.
Leah was beginning to fall asleep on the couch when her phone went off. Kira sent her a text to let her know that they were at her friend’s hotel which wasn’t far. The part that Leah was most thankful for was that she could get to the other hotel via the skyway. She wouldn’t need to walk down the street, which at this point she was worried about because of seeing the eyes in the alley. Leah wanted to surprise Kira and Taryn which was pretty easy since Kira texted Leah that not only were they at this other hotel, they were in that hotel’s restaurant.
Once she arrived at the hotel, Leah looked around at the bar first to make sure they weren’t there at the bar instead of the restaurant. Leah sat down at the bar, seeing a familiar face. “Well hello there.” Dean said with a smile. “Are you staying here?” Leah asked curiously. She then laughed softly, “That may have sounded…bad. I wasn’t trying to…and I’m so much batter at this when I’ve had a drink or two.” Dean started laughing, “Whiskey for the lady please.” He said to the bartender. Leah sighed and shook her head. She showed the bartender her i.d. and he poured her a drink. Dean and Leah clicked their glasses and Leah took a drink. Just as they finished their drinks, someone else came up to get a drink, “Hey…Picking up a girl already? It’s still pretty early.” Dean sighed, “Thanks…Leah this is my brother Sam.” Leah looked up and shook Sam’s hand when offered. She then looked at Dean then Sam, ”Dean…Sam…Huh.” She took the next drink that the bartender and muttered under her breathe, ”Glowing eyes.” Dean and Sam shared a looked but didn’t say anything.
Just as she was going to make a Supernatural comment, Leah heard someone call her name. When Leah looked past Sam and Dean, she saw Kira and Taryn. The young woman began to approach her friends but stopped before getting too far. ”Thank you…for the drink.” Dean nodded, “Hope I can do more next time.” Leah smiled and nodded, ”Maybe.” The young woman then went to meet up with her friends again. “Who was that?” Kira asked curiously, “Oh is that the guy you were talking to at the bar the other night?” Taryn asked as she tried to get a better look. ”And now we’re leaving.” Leah said taking her friends and pulled them away. “You should introduce us though…he’s cute.” Kira said, admiring both of the men but mostly Dean. ”Come on…it’s midnight, we should be getting back to our hotel…the Supernatural gathering is at noon. I need time to put the mark of Cain on you and do your make up so come on, bed time.” Kira sighed softly and went along, Taryn simply laughed at her two younger friends.
Getting back to their hotel was easy enough. Kira and Taryn fell asleep right away but Leah was having trouble. It was those eyes, before they didn’t bother her but now that she felt like se may have seen something she wasn’t supposed to, the young woman just felt restless. It was about 3 o’clock in the morning and Leah had been trying to sleep for over 2 hours now. The young brunette sat up, deciding that it was pointless to try and sleep but at the same time there wasn’t much she could do in the room without waking her friends. Kira rolled over, pushing the pillow off her head and looked at Leah, ”Hey…” Leah looked at Kira and smiled a little, ”Hey, go back to sleep…I’m gonna go for a walk, hard time getting to sleep. I’ll be back soon.” Kira took a deep breathe, nodded and laid her head back down, covering it with the pillow again.
After putting her cell phone in one pocket and her room key in her other pocket, Leah left their suite and started to walk down the hall. Being 3am, it was pretty quiet. The young woman passed a couple other people in the hallway but there most definitely were not a lot of people. Not knowing what else to do, Leah felt it would be best to go down to the lobby. At least she would be able to sit down and read on her phone or something instead of sitting in the hallway. Although the young woman knew it was late at night or actually early in the morning, she felt it was a bit strange with so many people staying in the hotel but so little ‘foot traffic’ in the halls and lobby. As she got down to the lobby, Leah put her hands in her pockets. She intended simply to grab her cell phone but she also noticed that her key was no longer in her other pocket. ”Oh you have got to be kidding me.” She groaned softly and began to look around the elevator floor but didn’t see her key. The woman sighed, but since she managed a hotel, she knew it wouldn’t be hard to get another key from the front desk.
The lobby seemed even quieter than the rest of the hotel. Leah approached the front desk and looked around but no one was there. Knowing how frustrating it could be to have someone come to the front desk and immediately start calling for attention, Leah waited for a little bit to see if anyone returned to the desk. After about 5 minutes, Leah realized that the Front Desk person had either fallen asleep or was not watching the camera of the front desk. ”Hello? Sorry to bother you but I lost my key.” Leah called out, hoping that someone would hear her and come to the desk. Leah waited for 15 minutes but no one came to the front desk, actually there didn’t seem to be anyone around at all. The young brunette sighed softly, deciding she would just go back to the room and call her friend’s cell phone to let her back in. As soon as Leah began to walk away from the desk, she heard something that sounded like crying. With there being no one at the desk, Leah wondered if someone was hurt, maybe that was why there was no one there to help her. The noise peaked Leah’s interest, mostly because she wanted to know that everything was alright and no one was hurt.
As Leah got closer to the source of the noise, she was beginning to realize that it was not in fact someone crying but instead it sounded like an animal whimpering. This made Leah stop and look around. The young woman had enough sense not to get any closer, if there was a wounded animal or something in the hotel it could attack. Just as she began to retreat, the whimper turned into a growl and she saw the glowing eyes she had seen the night before. ”S***” The brunette cursed softly as she moved away from the noise. What happened next happened very quickly. Something jumped out of the shadows toward Leah who was grabbed and pulled back by someone else. As she looked at the creature that tried to attack, Leah noticed something off. Just as the creature got up to attack again, someone else tackled it to the ground. It was then that the young woman was able to see that the creature that tried to attack her was not an animal she had ever seen. It looked more like a human but it’s skin was like leather, it’s hands were long and it’s nails were claws. The man who had jumped forward to tackle Leah’s attacker drove a dagger into it’s side. The creature screamed, it’s wound burned and it eventually died.
”The creature is dead…Is she alright…Did it hurt you?” The man put his hand on her chin and turned her head, examining her. “Cass.” Dean spoke from behind Leah, revealing that he was the one who pulled her away from the attack, ”We have to be sure she is alright, if she was scratch, she could turn…You know there isn’t a cure…it’s not like a vampire or werewolf. We haven’t found a cure or a name for that yet.” Dean sighed and walked around next to the angel. He looked at Leah and waved his hand in front of her, seeing that she seemed to be paralyzed. ”Cass…Dean and Sam.” She put her fingers to her neck, ”Am I dreaming?” The brunette asked herself softly. Dean sighed, “Well she can speak so I guess that’s a good sign…Cass-” The young man was still speaking to the angel when he turned away from the young woman but she couldn’t hear what he said because suddenly everything was muffled.
Sam joined up with them soon. He looked at Leah then at his brother and the angel, “She ok?” Dean sighed, “You find out that a TV show is based on reality…would you be ok?” The younger brother sighed and nodded. When they all had their backs turned, Leah began to feel panicked and turned around to leave only to be greeted by another uneasy site. A pillar of black smoke was creeping up from the ground to form a tall very will built man with a beard, tattoos, and red eyes. If the other three were real, Leah knew who this was. Her fear was confirmed when the man spoke in a gruff British accent, ”Hello darling.” Leah takes a few steps back especially when Crowley reaches out, ”Not so fast…I’ve been looking for you.” Castiel steps in to grab Leah just in time. Crowley sighed and looked back, hearing the elevator ding, ”Next time then.” He said with a wink to Leah then disappeared.
Kira and Taryn got off the elevator and looked around, eventually seeing Leah, only really because they could hear her freaking out. ”No way…I am dreaming, I drank too much and I’m having some crazy dream. Monsters…at least those kinds of monsters…They aren’t real.” Sam and Dean were trying to calm Leah down and explain, but instead Castiel sighed and put his pointer finger and middle finger on Leah’s forehead which made her pass out. The angel caught her and looked at Dean and Sam who seemed to disapprove, “You wouldn’t have been able to get her to calm down and we need to get her out of here to keep her safe from Crowley.” The angel picked Leah up and was about to leave but Kira ran up and stepped in front of him, “Excuse me, that’s my friend... Where do you think you’re going?” She asked sternly.
The three men shared a look then Dean stepped forward, “My name is Dean Winchester…This is my brother Sam, and that walking load of sensitivity is Castiel.” Taryn shook her head with a laugh, “Really? We may be fan girls but we’re not stupid. Supernatural is a TV show…not real life.” Kira nodded, “Yeah I’m sorry but you can’t take our friend…I don’t trust you guys.” Castiel sighed and looked at Sam and Dean, “There is no time for this…Crowley will come back to find the girl. I need to go find out why he wants her.” Sam and Dean nodded, “Fine…If you don’t believe us, come with us…No way we can leave you two here either…Who knows what that son of a bitch is up to.” The three men began to leave and Kira and Taryn followed.
Crowley knocked a couple things over in irritation, ”Three girls…Each born on a specific date…that’s what I need and you’re telling me you can’t find any bloody birth records?” A demon stood off to the side, avoiding Crowley’s wrath as best he could. “I…I’m sorry sir…It’s like they’ve been wiped out…How did you find this one?” Crowley looked at the other demon and stepped forward, ”Simple…I looked!” He said as he grabbed the other demon by the throat and lifted him up. ”Now the Winchester and that bloody angel have her…They’ll keep her hidden and I’ll need to find another one, plus the other two!” He dropped the demon who quickly got up and bowed, “I’m so sorry sir…I swear I’ll find them.” Crowley sighed and put one hand up on the bridge of his nose. He waved the demon away with his other hand, then sat back and looked at a paper with three dates written.
